The Spiritual Cosmos and the Hierarchy of Saints
To understand the spiritual world is to understand that the mercy of Allah is not a distant abstraction but a living, breathing reality that permeates all of existence. The Holy Prophet Muhammad (SAWAW), the seal of prophets, established a complete and perfect religion. After his physical departure from this world, the sacred duty of safeguarding and propagating the pristine teachings of Islam was entrusted to his purified progeny, the Holy Ahle Bait Athaar (ASWS).
The Sacred Legacy of Panjtan Paak (SAWAW)
The foundation of our faith and the pinnacle of our love rest firmly upon the Holy Panjtan Paak, the Five Holy Personalities of the Cloak: The Holy Prophet Muhammad (SAWAW), his beloved daughter Hadrat Fatima Zahra (SA), his cousin and successor Hadrat Maula Ali-ul-Murtaza (ASWS), and his grandsons, the leaders of the youth of Paradise, Hadrat Imam Hasan (ASWS) and Hadrat Imam Hussain (ASWS). They are the ark of salvation, the shining stars that illuminate the dark night of ignorance.
The Holy Prophet (SAWAW) is the fountainhead of divine revelation and the perfect exemplar for all of humanity. Hadrat Fatima Zahra (SA) is the mistress of the women of the world, a symbol of purity and unwavering devotion. Hadrat Maula Ali (ASWS) is the gateway to the city of knowledge, the lion of Allah, whose spiritual authority is an undeniable reality. Imam Hasan (ASWS) and Imam Hussain (ASWS) are the embodiments of sacrifice and the living testimonies to the truth of Islam.
Their lives were not one of ease and comfort. They faced unimaginable difficulties, betrayals, and tragedies at the hands of the enemies of Islam. These enemies, driven by worldly ambition and spiritual blindness, sought to extinguish the divine light. Their persecution of the Ahle Bait (ASWS) is a dark stain on history. But the light of Allah cannot be extinguished. The trials they endured only elevated their status and demonstrated the ultimate truth that those who side with the Ahle Bait (ASWS) are with the truth, and those who oppose them are on the path of misguidance. The tragedy of Karbala, where Imam Hussain (ASWS) stood alone against tyranny, is not a story of defeat but the ultimate victory of blood over the sword, of truth over falsehood.
The Divine Agency of the Awliya Allah
After the Imam of our time entered the state of ghaybat (occultation), the spiritual stewardship of the Ummah was entrusted to the Awliya Allah—the saints and friends of God. They are the inheritors of the prophets and the living proof of the Prophet’s (SAWAW) saying: “Al-Walayat-o-Nayyab-tu-Nabuwah,” meaning “Sainthood is the Vicegerency of Prophethood.”
The Awliya Allah are the guardians of the spiritual path, the ones who continue to purify souls, guide seekers, and demonstrate the reality of Islamic teachings. They are the spiritual poles (Aqtab) of their age. Their very existence is a mercy to creation, a conduit for divine blessings. Their miracles are not acts of magic but manifestations of divine power. Their knowledge is not acquired but bestowed (Ilm-e-Ladunni). Their love is the fragrance of paradise.
The Three Stations of Sainthood: Akmal, Mukammal, and Kamil
To further understand the grandeur of divine grace, we must explore the various spiritual stations bestowed upon the Awliya Allah. The spiritual journey of a saint involves the purification of the self, the struggle against the ego (jihad al-nafs), and the complete submission to the Divine Will. This journey culminates in different stations, which reflect the depth and extent of their spiritual realization. Among these stations are the positions of the Kamil, Mukammal, and Akmal Wali.
1. Kamil Wali Allah (The Complete Saint)
The term “Kamil” means complete or perfect in one’s own self. The Kamil Wali Allah is a saint who has successfully traversed the spiritual path and has achieved union with the Divine in his own self. He has annihilated his ego and is subsisting in God. He is a beacon of light and a source of immense blessings for the people.
This station is widely recognized and often spoken of in Sufi circles because of the profound impact these saints have on the community. It is said that a Kamil Wali Allah possesses the spiritual power to appear in more than 70 places simultaneously. This is not a physical manifestation but a spiritual projection, a testament to his expansive consciousness and his desire to help the maximum number of people.
The primary purpose of these appearances is the propagation of the True Teachings of Islam. He can be present at 70 different gatherings, spiritual circles, or even to 70 different individuals at once, offering his guidance, his blessings, and showing people the Straight Path (Sirat al-Mustaqeem). Through these spiritual appearances, he corrects misconceptions, removes doubts, and instills faith in the hearts of believers. He is the tireless worker in the field of Allah, whose capacity to bless is multiplied exponentially by divine grace.
2. Mukammal Wali Allah (The Perfect Saint)
The station of Mukammal is a degree higher than Kamil. It signifies a state of perfection that extends beyond oneself to others. While the Kamil has perfected his own self, the Mukammal not only possesses perfection but also has the power and authority to perfect others. He can elevate disciples to a level of spiritual completion, guiding them through the most difficult stages of the path with an even greater force of spiritual authority.
The spiritual capacity of a Mukammal Wali is even more immense. By the infinite mercy of Allah, he can spiritually appear at 140 places at the same time. This increased capacity is a reflection of his higher spiritual rank and his greater responsibility in the service of the Ummah.
Like the Kamil, his mission is to spread the True Teachings of Islam and show people the Straight Path. However, his power to affect change and to transform souls is more profound. He is a master of the spiritual path, capable of guiding a multitude of seekers to their ultimate spiritual destination. These simultaneous appearances are a divine gift, allowing him to be a source of support for a vast number of people, addressing their spiritual needs, resolving their crises of faith, and leading them from darkness to light.
3. Akmal Wali Allah (The Most Perfect Saint)
This is the loftiest station a human being can achieve after the prophets and the Imams. The term Akmal signifies the most perfect, the ultimate degree of spiritual perfection and power. This is the station of the Ghaus, the spiritual pole of the age, the supreme vicegerent of the Prophet (SAWAW) in his time.
The Akmal Wali is on a level of existence that is incomprehensible to ordinary minds. His spiritual power is boundless. He can spiritually appear at an untold number of places simultaneously—a number known only to Allah. There is no limit to his spiritual reach. He can be present everywhere and anywhere his divine mandate requires him to be.
The purpose of these immeasurable spiritual manifestations is not just to spread Islam but to do so with an unmatched potency, to solve the problems of the deserving people, and to grant them spiritual and worldly succor. Every single action of an Akmal Wali is a miracle (Karamat). Every word he speaks is a revelation of divine wisdom. Every glance he casts is a source of transformation. His life itself is a continuous, unfolding miracle.
To be in the presence of an Akmal Wali is to be in the presence of a spiritual ocean; the more you take from it, the more it replenishes. His actions are not bound by the laws of the material world. He operates in a realm of pure divine will. He is the spiritual king of his age, the one who is the secret of Allah on earth. The miracles attributed to him are not demonstrations of power but simple manifestations of the reality of divine authority, a reality that is veiled from the common person. The Chief Qalandar Sarkaar Hadrat Peer Muhammad Bashir Ahmad Alvi Al-Owaisi, Qadari, Qalandari, Panjtani, Daimi-al-Huzoori (Noor Allah Marqadah) is an Akmal Wali Allah whose whole life is full of miracles from child age to youth, old age to the date of demise i.e. 30th January, 1998.
Conclusion: The Unfailing Mercy and Guidance of Allah
The reality of the Awliya Allah, in all their stations, is a powerful testament to the infinite mercy and wisdom of Allah. They are the living continuation of the prophetic mission, the beacons of light in an increasingly dark world. They guide the seeker, heal the broken-hearted, and reaffirm the truth of Islam. Their very existence is a promise from Allah that He will never leave the Ummah without a guide, without a spiritual shepherd.

Almighty Allah conveyed His Message to His Holy Prophet Muhammad(SAWAW) to declare that “Whosoever keeps enmity or hatred attitude towards His Awliya, He is in the state of War with them”. This indicates how Awliya (Helpers/Friends) are beloved to Almighty Allah, and are above the rank of Angels.
