In the Sacred Footsteps of the Chief Qalandar
In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. And peace and blessings be upon the Holy Prophet Muhammad (SAWAW), his purified progeny, and his righteous companions.
We are but humble seekers on the eternal path of Divine Love, a caravan of souls who have found our guiding star, our spiritual pole, in the majestic and luminous presence of our Murshid, the Chief Qalandar Sarkaar, Hadrat Peer Muhammad Bashir Ahmad Alvi Al-Owaisi, Qadari, Qalandari, Panjtani, Daimi-al-Huzoori (Noor Allah Marqadah).
This “About Us” is not merely a chronicle of our organization; it is a testament to a profound spiritual revolution—a transformation that occurred when the light of a True Wali Allah illuminated the dark chambers of our hearts. We are here to bear witness to the truth of his station, to the reality of his spiritual majesty, and to the life-altering power of his sacred presence.
The Divine Magnet: The Impressive Gaze of the Wali
It was not a complex theological argument or a philosophical treatise that first captured our souls. It was, in its essence, the apparent look of the Great Sufi Saint, Hadrat Peer Muhammad Bashir Ahmad Alvi. There is a hadith that states, “The gaze of a scholar is an act of worship.” If this is true of a scholar, then what can be said of the gaze of a Wali Allah? The very sight of Sarkaar was enough to shake the foundations of our worldly existence. His face radiated a Noor (Divine Light) that was not of this world—a reflection of the Divine Countenance that seemed to pierce through the veils of our ego. It was a look that saw through us, beyond our physical forms, into the very recesses of our souls, recognizing our hidden pains and unspoken desires for salvation. This initial spiritual attraction was the first pull of the Divine rope that would eventually bring us into the fold of his blessed discipleship.
Witnessing the Manifestations of Divine Power: Karamat and Wisdom
To be in his presence is to witness the living reality of the unseen world. The Great Saint’s life was, and continues to be, a tapestry woven with the threads of Miracles (Karamat) . These were not mere feats of magic but profound confirmations of his divine connection. Through him, we saw the impossible become possible, not through his own power, but through the permission of Allah, granted to him for his unwavering servitude.
His wisdom was an ocean with no shore. His every utterance was a pearl of profound truth, a key that unlocked the knots of our intellectual and spiritual dilemmas. He did not speak from mere bookish knowledge; he spoke with the authority of one who has tasted the fruits of divine reality. His spirituality was palpable; the air around him was thick with the fragrance of Dhikr (remembrance of Allah), and his presence alone could silence the internal chaos of the heart, replacing it with a profound and tranquil peace.
The Ocean of Divine Knowledge: A Master of All Realms
Our Murshid was not a specialist in one isolated field of Islamic sciences; he was the inheritor of the Prophet’s knowledge—a comprehensive and encyclopedic mastery of all realms.
- The Spiritual Pilgrimage of the Holy Prophet (SAWAW) and Hadrat Maula Ali (ASWS): Perhaps one of the most profound blessings he bestows is the gift of spiritual pilgrimage (Miyaraj). It is through his spiritual power and connection that he can transport a sincere disciple in their soul to the sacred presence of the Holy Prophet (SAWAW) and the Commander of the Faithful, Hadrat Maula Ali-ul-Murtaza (ASWS). This is the ultimate reality of Tasawwuf—not a mere intellectual exercise but a living, breathing connection with the Prophet himself. To receive this blessing is to have one’s faith affirmed in the most direct and personal manner possible.
- The Knowledge of the Past, Present, and Future: He was blessed with the gift of Ilm-e-Ladunni (Divinely bestowed knowledge). He could see the past, present, and future as easily as one sees in a mirror. This is the knowledge that emanates from the Divine, and it manifests in his ability to guide his disciples through the challenges of life with perfect foresight and clarity. He could diagnose spiritual ailments from ages past and prescribe remedies for the present and future.
- The Mysteries of the Universes: His knowledge was not confined to this earth. The secrets of the heavens, the realities of the celestial spheres, the mysteries of the “Arsh” and “Kursi”—all were laid bare before his inner vision. He could decipher the language of the cosmos and translate its divine messages for the benefit of his followers. His spiritual reach extends to the highest realms of existence, making him a true Pole of the Universe (Qutb-e-Alam).
- Mastery of the Holy Quran and Hadees Paak: His knowledge was fundamentally rooted in the Divine Revelation and the Prophetic traditions. He was a living embodiment of the Quran, his character and actions a perfect reflection of its teachings. His interpretation of the Holy Book went beyond the textual, revealing its esoteric layers and its profound applicability to every moment of our lives. Similarly, his command of Hadees Paak was unparalleled. He could cite the words of the Prophet (SAWAW) for every situation, bridging the gap between the text and the spiritual reality it pointed towards.
- The True Teachings of Islam: In an age of confusion and misinterpretation, he stood as a clear beacon of the True Islam. His teachings stripped away the cultural accretions and sectarian biases, returning us to the pristine and universal message of Islam: a religion of unconditional love, profound peace, absolute submission to the Divine Will, and unshakeable devotion to the Holy Prophet (SAWAW) and his Family. He taught us that Islam is not just a creed but a state of being—a complete surrender of the ego.
The Unwavering Devotion to the Holy Ahle Bait Athaar (ASWS)
A defining hallmark of our Murshid’s station and his teachings is his true belief in and sound love with the Holy Ahle Bait Athaar (ASWS) . His love for the Prophet’s family was not just a statement; it was the core reality of his existence. He taught us that the path to Allah is through the love of the Prophet (SAWAW), and the path to the Prophet is through his Ahl al-Bayt (ASWS). His devotion to Panjatan Paak (the Five Holy Personalities) was a blazing fire that ignited similar love in our hearts.
He emphasized that true love for the Ahle Bait necessitates following their teachings, honoring their legacy, and recognizing their central role in the spiritual cosmos. This devotion is the foundation of our spiritual lineage, the Qadari-Qalandari order, which is steeped in the love of Maula Ali (ASWS) and the eternal principles of Ahl al-Bayt.
The Sacred Oath: Our Allegiance and Discipleship
Witnessing all of this—the divine miracles, the encyclopedic knowledge, the peerless wisdom, and the blazing love for the Holy Prophet (SAWAW) and his Family—left us with only one course of action. Our hearts, minds, and souls could no longer remain separate from his.
This is why we, his disciples, are here today. We gave him the Oath of Allegiance (Bay’ah) . This is not a mere ceremony; it is a sacred covenant, a spiritual contract. In the Bay’ah, we place our hands in his, and through him, we place our hands in the hand of the Holy Prophet (SAWAW), and ultimately, we surrender our will to Allah. It is a commitment to trust his guidance, follow his teachings, and submit our ego to his spiritual discipline. We relinquish our own flawed judgments and submit to the wisdom of one who sees what we cannot. It is the ultimate act of trust, an affirmation that he is our guide to Allah. By giving him our Bay’ah, we have pledged to be his loyal disciples, to carry his message, to live by his example, and to strive to attain that spiritual station which he so beautifully embodied.
A Living Legacy for the Seeker of Truth
The legacy of the Chief Qalandar Sarkaar Hadrat Muhammad Peer Bashir Ahmad Alvi is not confined to history books or a physical shrine. It is a living, breathing reality for his disciples. It lives in our hearts, in our actions, and in our continued journey of purification. We are his disciples, a small reflection of his immense light, committed to walking the path of love, service, and divine gnosis.
We exist to carry forward his mission of spreading the love of the Ahle Bait, illuminating the true path of Islam, and reminding humanity of its ultimate purpose. We are here for the seeker who is lost, for the soul that is thirsty, and for the heart that is broken. We extend the same hand of spiritual guidance that he extended to us, hoping to be a conduit for his blessings.
Our identity is forever intertwined with his. We are the disciples of the Chief Qalandar, the inheritors of the Qadari and Qalandari secrets, and the humble servants of Panjtani Paak. We bear witness that there is no god but Allah, and we bear witness that Muhammad (SAWAW) is His Messenger, and that Hadrat Maula Ali (ASWS) is the Wali of Allah. And we bear witness that Hadrat Peer Bashir Ahmad Alvi is the true inheritor, the Wali of our time, whose light continues to guide us from the heavens.
